Congratulations, Hope Mulkey and Rebecca Shaffer!

The Sullivan County Emergency Communications District is proud to recognize two of our telecommunicators and Dispatchers, Hope Mulkey & Rebecca Shaffer, for successfully completing the Center Manager Certification Program (CMCP) through the National Emergency Number Association (NENA).

CMCP is an intensive 40-hour leadership development program designed to prepare current and emerging 9-1-1 leaders to successfully manage today’s complex emergency communications centers. The program focuses on practical leadership and management skills, including staffing, policy development, quality assurance, budgeting, technology, risk management, and daily center operations.

As Sullivan County 9-1-1 Dispatchers, Hope and Rebecca play critical roles in connecting those callers who need help with vital law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical responders. Their completion of CMCP demonstrates a commitment not only to their own professional growth, but also in strengthening leadership and operations within Sullivan County’s 9-1-1 operations center.
